Blossom Zen Teacup

This teacup embodies the rich traditional craftsmanship of Dehua, a small town where half the population once hand-crafted delicate porcelain flowers. Whether for a decorative basket, an ornate plate, or a single accent piece, these flowers were created entirely by hand using various techniques—pinching, rolling, and more. Unlike mass-produced, molded flowers, no two blooms are identical, giving each cup a unique character. The cup is adorned with intricately handcrafted flowers, vibrant and lifelike, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Complementing this artistry, renowned artist Chen Qiongyu has inscribed the cup with the classic Chinese verse: 

“寒夜客来茶当酒，竹炉汤沸火初红。  
寻常一样窗前月，才有梅花便不同。” 

(Translation: "On a cold night, a guest arrives; tea serves as wine, the bamboo stove boils, and the fire glows red.  
The same moon shines before the window, yet it feels different now that plum blossoms are in bloom.")
