The 18K gold adds just enough prestige without being over-the-top. The transparent glaze is incredibly smooth, making it very easy to rinse. A daily luxury that brings a sense of 'Serenity' to my hectic mornings.

I was worried the gold might look tacky or 'printed on,' but in person, it’s remarkably subtle and three-dimensional. You can actually feel the texture of the peacock feathers. The Dehua porcelain has that signature 'Suet Jade' glow—it’s translucent and has a creamy warmth that my standard bone china sets lack. It feels like a piece of history on my tea table.

As a collector of Dehua porcelain, I’m picky about the clay. This set uses genuine high-grade clay—the tea liquor looks vibrant against the white interior, and it doesn't retain odors from previous steeps. The pour is smooth and fast, which is crucial for delicate teas. It’s becoming more 'lustrous' (oily) the more I use it, just as the description promised.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend who is a tea enthusiast. The packaging was secure and elegant (my biggest worry for international shipping to the UK!). The craftsmanship is impeccable—no rough edges, and the gold hasn't faded after several uses. It exudes a 'Quiet Luxury' vibe that fits perfectly in a modern home.
