Time Repaired, Quietly Revealed

This rare hexagonal teacup originates from Dehua, dating back to the late Ming to early Qing Dynasty. Formed in an era that valued restraint and clarity, its compact body carries the calm proportion and tactile softness characteristic of early Dehua porcelain. Over time, the cup developed a natural patina—subtle, warm, and unmistakably aged.

The piece has been thoughtfully restored by Kevin using traditional Kintsugi, where breaks are not concealed but honored. Gold traces now flow gently through the white porcelain, preserving the cup’s history while giving it renewed life. The repair does not interrupt the form—it completes it.

Gold isn't a fix; it's a narrative. These veins don't interrupt the form—they complete the story that began four centuries ago.
