Chaozhou Kungfu Gaiwan

These teacups were carefully sourced from various antique markets in 2020, pieced together after much effort to complete a few sets. Small, delicate, and adorned with beautiful patterns, these cups instantly caught my eye and became a cherished part of my collection. Recently, I was fortunate enough to discover a Gaiwan with the same pattern, perfectly complementing the set.

This Gaiwan has a smaller capacity, making it ideal for Gongfu tea. Though some pieces may bear the marks of time, these imperfections add to their charm, transporting us back to the streets of 1970s Chaozhou. This set is particularly suited for those who appreciate vintage teaware, offering a tangible connection to the past and the rich tradition of tea culture.
