Retro Plum Blossom Tea Tray

This tea tray is a nostalgic piece, likely from Dehua in the 1970s, and carries with it a sense of history and memory. The tray has a diameter of approximately 20 cm and weighs over 500 grams, showcasing a robust and solid design. Originally, it was part of a set with a larger teapot and 1-2 tall straight cups, but such trays are no longer produced today. I discovered these two trays in an antique shop in Dehua a few years ago—one adorned with a plum blossom pattern and the other left blank. Initially, I intended to add some new creative elements to them, but over time, I realized that their original appearance was the most interesting.

The blank tray, in particular, offers more room for imagination. Whether used for daily tea sessions or as a decorative piece, it exudes a unique charm. This tea tray can be paired with the teapots and cups available in our shop, creating a distinctive and vintage tea experience. You might find that its simplicity and purity are what make it most appealing.
