A Xiao is renowned for his pursuit of the "Extremely Thin." Unlike slip-cast porcelain, his works are Hand-Pressed (拓印). Using his fingers to guide the clay, he achieves a thinness that is almost ethereal, yet retains a rhythmic, tactile texture that can only be achieved through direct human contact. Every vessel is a unique impression of the artist’s hand at that specific moment in time.
